Pace Halter Named as W.C. Bradley Co. Real Estate President and COO

Pace M. Halter will be joining the Real Estate Division of the W.C. Bradley Co. as President and Chief Operating Officer, effective Monday, June 12, 2017.
 
Halter brings a broad base of real estate and finance experience to the W.C. Bradley Co. Real Estate team.  For the past 16 years, Halter has served as President and CEO for The Halter Companies, a company he founded in Atlanta, Georgia.  Prior to forming The Halter Companies, he worked for both BB&T and Bank of America as the Assistant Vice President managing a significant real estate construction and development loan portfolio.  Halter is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Business.  He earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate and Finance from Georgia State University.

Bradley Co. President and CEO.  “Pace has been an integral partner during the project development of The Rapids, our newest Riverfront development.  Over the past two years, we have gotten to know him very well and realized he is clearly the ideal candidate to lead W.C. Bradley Co. Real Estate Division forward into one of the most exciting and aggressive periods of development in our company’s history.”
 
Retiring W.C. Bradley Co. Real Estate President Mat Swift added, “I am excited to be handing the reins over to Pace Halter, who we have worked closely with over the past two years and have come to greatly respect.  Not only is Pace the visionary that our future development efforts require, but he also embodies the values and culture that are the bedrock of our company.  He will be a great asset to the company and the community.”  To ensure a smooth transition, Swift will remain with W.C. Bradley Real Estate as Vice Chairman for the coming months to support Halter and the Real Estate team.
 
Halter is the Past Chairman of the Urban Land Institutes’ Young Leaders Group in Atlanta and Past District Council Councilor for the Urban Land Institutes’ Young Leaders Group nationally.  He and his wife, Eileen, and their three sons will be moving to Columbus during the summer.
