Liberty is pleased to announce that Carolyn Bermudez has been appointed President of our Georgia operations.

Carolyn brings more than 30 years of natural gas utility experience in operations, financial analysis, regulatory affairs, customer relations and system integrations. She was most recently the Vice President and General Manager of Florida City Gas where she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the utility. In this role she provided strategic direction for the utility’s core operations including field operations, customer relations, engineering and construction, measurement, pressure control and market development and growth. Florida City Gas, a subsidiary of Florida Power and Light, is the second largest natural gas utility in Florida serving over 112,000 customers.

Carolyn will be taking over for Chuck Rossi, who served as President of Liberty Georgia for over seven years. Chuck has transitioned to another position in the company. Carolyn is eager to support our customers and the communities we serve in the greater Columbus and Gainesville areas, building on the great work Chuck has done.

In 2017, Carolyn was named one of South Florida’s 25 Most Influential and Prominent Black Women. Carolyn is also a South Carolina native, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from South Carolina State University. Away from work, Carolyn has three children with her spouse, Pablo.

We are very excited to welcome Carolyn to the Liberty family.
