There’s just no beating Georgia Peaches.
Georgia ranks first in the nation for growth in women-owned businesses, according to the fourth annual American Express OPEN State the of Women-Owned Businesses Report.
The Peach State has an estimated 317,200 women-owned firms (up 117.9 percent since 1997) that employ 240,200 people (up 26 percent since 1997) and generate $45.6 million in revenue (up 80.4 percent since 1997).
