GEC Adds New Staff Members

Brady Bennett has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgia Southwestern University and a Master of Science degree in Biology from Georgia College & State University. Bennett has a variety of work experience including working as a biological technician, graduate teaching assistant, laboratory technician, and recently completed a project monitoring the black bear population in Middle Georgia for the Department of Natural Resources. He is certified as a Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission Level 1B Inspector and Level 1A Personnel. Bennett is joining the GEC team as an environmental specialist and will be working mainly in wetlands consultation.

Brandon Hill, a graduate from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, has joined GEC as an environmental specialist. Hill most recently worked as an Environmental Specialist with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management in Montgomery, Alabama. Hill’s responsibilities will include Industrial Health and Safety, Noise Assessments, Spill Prevention, Countermeasure Control Plans, and general environmental consulting.  

Victoria Kerry is a graduate from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Crop and Soil Science, specializing in agriscience and environmental systems. She is a 4 year member of the National Leadership and Honors Association. Kerry is joining GEC as an environmental specialist. Kerry’s responsibilities will include environmental monitoring, data evaluation and reporting for Solid Waste Disposal Facilities, compilation of data and completion of HUD forms, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.   

Amber Hughes has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Technology from Savannah State University, where she served as treasurer of the Environmental Science Club. Hughes is experienced as an Inorganic Chemistry Analyst and have performed analytical testing. Hughes is joining GEC as an environmental specialist.
