More Employers Participating in Career Expo in Columbus Wednesday

Almost 90 employers and other organizations are set to participate in the 12th Annual Career Expo Wednesday, Sept. 30, in Columbus. The expo is being sponsored by the Urban League of Greater Columbus and the Georgia Department of Labor.  It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Convention and Trade Center located at 801 Front Ave.  

In addition to employers, the expo will feature educational institutions and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers. Some employers will be hiring for a wide-variety of jobs, while others will discuss future employment opportunities. Some organizations will provide educational and other resources.

Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available jobs. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
