St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School names Rene McEvoy as its new Director of Advancement. The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and establish continuity for all fundraising and development activities at St. Anne-Pacelli – the only Catholic, preschool (age 1) through 12th grade, college preparatory school serving the southwestern portion of Georgia.

Prior to accepting the St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School Director of Advancement position, Rene served as Divisional Social Services Director for The Salvation Army in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont for many years. Before working in the non-profit sector, she was a top selling account executive for Aegis Funding in New Hampshire.

In addition to her work experience, Rene has been an active member of every community in which she has lived. She has served in leadership roles with previous Parent Teacher Associations, Mom’s Club International, and as a Catechist and Ministry Coordinator for Children’s Liturgy of the Word at her previous parish in Cherry Hill, NJ. She is currently a provisional member of The Junior League of Columbus.

Rene brings a background in faith-based non-profit development, strong business acumen, and a passion for serving the needs of children. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Childhood Development from Kaplan University.

Rene, her husband, Brian, and three children all attend St. Anne Catholic Church. Her son, Frankie, is a 7th grade student at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School and his two younger sisters will be enrolling in January 2017
