Monday, April 10th, 2017

KJ most recently performed at the Boys & Girls Clubs Southeast Leadership Conference in Montgomery, AL. which was an awesome performance.  He has also performed at the 2nd Annual ASYD Conference & Training held at the Columbus Trade Center last year which was also a great performance.  K.J. has been dancing for years and really enjoys it. Needless to say KJ Wilson has represented the J. Barnett Woodruff Club and BGCCV in a great way with his talents and lovable personality and always looks forward to represent the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley upon request.

With that being said I would like to share with everyone K.J.’s latest accomplishments.  A few weeks ago, K.J. competed in a Star Talent National Dance Competition held in Sevierville, TN.  Not only did KJ receive 1st Place in Best Solo Routine, 1st Place in Age Division, & 1st Place in Overall Soloist. K.J. was awarded the “BE DISCOVERED” scholarship award of $2,017.00 to travel to New York City and dance on Broadway on the Aladdin Stage in Times Square.  This great opportunity is scheduled for July 19th-26th.  K.J. will have the opportunity to perform with some of the nations best choreographers, dancers, and entertainers.  The opportunity is huge for K.J. to perform in New York City on Broadway!

Another most recent accomplishment of K.J.’s is he was accepted into the Performing School of the Arts newly to open soon here in Columbus, GA. K.J. keeps excelling in talents along with maintaining outstanding grades through a very busy schedule. We are happy for him!  Along with K.J.’s unbelievable talent and skill he continues to stay busy on the road with his passion of dancing and performing.  On July 12-16 he will venture to Greensboro, NC. for another competition hosted by Star Talent National Dance Competition. We wish him all the success in the world and more 1st Place Awards.
