The CSO’s Going Baroque February 13th

Staff Report From Columbus CEO

Monday, February 12th, 2018

The Columbus Symphony Orchestra is going “Baroque” for Valentine’s Day as we present our Legacy Hall Series concert, “Baroque Suites & Sweets” on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 7:30 PM at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts. Hear the best music of the two greatest Baroque composers, Bach and Handel, and fulfill your Valentine’s Day obligations all in one evening. To make the night “sweeter”, enjoy FREE champagne and delicious desserts at intermission sponsored by Kilwin’s.

“It is always exciting when we can celebrate Valentine’s Day with the CSO. More so this year as we celebrate with a special chamber orchestra concert. It is not often that you get to hear this style of music performed by a local ensemble,” says Eric M. Thomas, CSO Executive Director.

This concert will feature CSO Musicians: Concertmaster Kerren Berz, Violin – Kevin Lyons, Principal Trumpet – Jim Zellers, Principal Flute – Erica Howard, Principal Oboe.

“Baroque Suites & Sweets” is presented by TSYS, Kilwin’s, Boomer 102.5, 103.7 Lite FM, and WLTZ.

Tickets are $35 for all seating and may be purchased at the RiverCenter Box Office, Monday through
