Christine Senn, Ph.D., has become one of only three people worldwide to earn triple-certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. She is among the first candidates awarded the inaugural credential of ACRP Certified Professional– adding to her previous Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and Certified Principal Investigator credentials.

“At IACT Health, we believe strongly in continuing education. But more than that, we believe in competency. Simply studying something, taking a course, or attending lectures isn’t enough. ACRP’s certifications are designed to prove competency,” said Dr. Jeff Kingsley, Chief Executive Officer at IACT Health. “I’m immensely proud of Christine and her ability to become triple-certified as a CCRC, CPI, and ACRP-CP. These are nationally-accredited certifications and she stands apart internationally, having earned 3 of them. She is leading the way for our team.”

The eligibility requirements are rigorous and require proficiency in scientific concepts and research design, ethical and participant safety considerations, product development and regulations, clinical trial operations, study and site management, and data management and informatics. ACRP certification is the formal recognition of clinical research professionals who have demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform ethical and responsible clinical research.

“I care deeply about medical research and have a strong desire to improve my knowledge continuously. Over the past 14 years, I have strived to learn about different types of clinical trials, different fields and phases of clinical trials, and different facets of site operations,” stated Senn, Chief Operations Officer at IACT Health. “These certifications require not just a well-rounded understanding of the industry, but a solid understanding of Good Clinical Practice and International Conference on Harmonization standards. Coupled with my own experiences, the certifications have given me great confidence that I am an expert in this field.”
