The Columbus State University Center for Global Engagement celebrated its 15th Anniversary of the Spencer House on Tuesday with a reception at the Schuster Center for Student Success. An alumna of the program, a student who will soon be studying abroad at Oxford, and a University of Oxford professor spoke at the event to share their experiences with the 15-year program.

CSU President Chris Markwood also made an announcement at the event about a new endowment to support student study abroad scholarships to Oxford. Thanks to the generosity of the Spencer family, the Mildred Miller Fort Foundation, Dr. Dan Ross, and the First Choice Comprehensive Campaign, the new endowment will uphold the partnership between Columbus State University and University of Oxford in perpetuity.

CSU's Spencer House at Oxford is a unique program that provides CSU students and faculty members with housing as they study abroad at the University of Oxford.
