Columbus State University’s WCUG Cougar Radio and student newspaper, the Saber, are collaborating on a news show, focusing on a wide array of topics from the perspective of CSU students and the lives of those connected to students and general Columbus community. The first episode will air at 7 a.m. Monday, September 23.

“For the first episode, Cougar Radio and the Saber are talking about the Health Clinic,” states WCUG Programming Manager Doria Lacey. “There will be a few opening words, then Macy (Saber staff) will present her article, other staffers will share their thoughts and opinions, and the show will end after a rundown of some of the current events going on around campus at the time.”

The staff is open to suggestions and feedback from listeners as they pinpoint the type of content and style that will work best for the show. The show will air on 88.5 FM WCUG Cougar
