CVCC Receives Funds for College Improvements

Senator Tom Whatley recently presented $9,000 to Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC). A representative from Senator Whatley’s office gave Applied Technology Program Director Clint Langley a surprise visit to drop off the donation.
“That was a great surprise,” said Langley. “The funds are earmarked for the Applied Technology Program and will fund Skills USA, an annual competition for students. This will pay for entry fees and travel for the students and the instructor.”
Langley says some of the funds are also designated for MSSC training which is a nationally recognized training certification for students at CVCC.
