United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley Adds Clay and Quitman Counties to Service Area

United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley is pleased to announce the additions of Clay County, Georgia and Quitman County, Georgia to its service area. These additions became effective January 4th, 2021. 

“We are pleased to welcome Clay County and Quitman County to the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley. We look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration, partnering to serve the residents in these counties.,” Ben Moser, President and CEO of United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley, said. Clay and Quitman Counties have never been served by a United Way.  

There were two key players that made this new partnership possible, Tara D Gardner, Project Director of Clay County Health Partnership and Sara Lee Crumbs, Coordinator of Quitman County Family Connection. “Clay County is very grateful and excited to join the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley,” Gardner said. “We look forward to building a strong, lasting relationship that will allow us to offer the many benefits of United Way to our community and to becoming part of the all-important United Way campaign.” 

 United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley's work focuses on the building blocks for a good life: education, health, income, and basic needs to improve lives in the valley. With these additions, our goal to lead the community and unite resources is expanded and enriched. We are United In This Together, and it's the strength of our partners that drives real equitable change.

 With these additions, United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley now serves nine counties in Georgia including Chattahoochee, Clay, Harris, Marion, Muscogee, Quitman, Stewart, Talbot, and Taylor, as well as Russell County, Alabama.
