St. Anne Community Outreach to Provide Evening Food Distribution Opportunity

Friday, April 9th, 2021

St. Anne Community Outreach, a food and clothing bank serving Muscogee County residents, will open its food pantry on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to serve those who are unable to access food pantries during the daytime. “We recognize there are food insecure individuals and families in our community that have difficulty accessing food pantries due to their daytime work schedules,” said Katie Byers, St. Anne Community Outreach Director. “This evening grocery distribution is run in partnership with the St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School Viking Outreach Leadership Team. This team is made up of high school students who focus on providing assistance to families in crisis in the community.”

Those requesting assistance must be from Muscogee County and have to register in advance using this online form. This food distribution opportunity will be a drive-thru experience. Those who register are asked to form a line while in their cars, wear masks, and stay in their cars. Verification of all family members is required (health care cards, birth certificates, and Social Security cards are all acceptable forms of verification).

PLEASE NOTE: You may only receive groceries once a month - if you have already picked up groceries from St. Anne Community Outreach in April 2021, you are not eligible to receive groceries at the organization’s April 14th food distribution.

The primary mission of St. Anne Community Outreach is to provide food and clothing to those in great need or in emergency situations. Very limited financial assistance for utilities, rent, and prescription costs may also be provided, dependent upon the availability of funds.
