Colony Bank Names Barry Blevins Treasury Solutions Advisor Lead

Colony Bank today announced that Barry Blevins has joined as Treasury Solutions Advisor Lead.
Blevins brings 24 years of banking experience in commercial lending and treasury solutions. Most recently, he served as Market President at Synovus Financial Corporation. Prior to this, he held the position of Treasury Management, Vice President. Blevins holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Management from Dalton State College.
Commenting on the announcement, Cindy Minter, Director of Treasury Solutions, Senior Vice President, said, “We are very excited to welcome Barry to Colony Bank. His extensive banking and treasury experience will be a great asset as we continue to expand our Treasury capabilities and meet the evolving needs of our corporate and small business customers.”
Blevins has lived in the Northwest Georgia region his entire career and has two sons, Brodie and Tyler. He remains active in the community and is the recipient of the North Georgia Autism Conference Volunteer of the Year and the William Turner Humanitarian Award. Blevins currently serves as the President of the Calhoun Touchdown Club, President of the Calhoun/Gordon County Sports Hall of Fame, and is the Color Commentator for Calhoun High Football. In his free time, Blevins enjoys listening to music, sports, and hiking.
