Marty Lester, an experienced attorney and educator has joined the law firm of Goggans, Stutzman, Hudson, Wilson & Mize, LLP.

“Marty brings a wealth of experience and a diverse legal background to the firm. We are extremely excited to have him join us and I believe we will be much better with Marty on board,” says Partner Nick Stutzman.

Marty has spent the last 27 years as an educator, serving as Headmaster at St. Paul’s Episcopal School in Mobile, Alabama for eight years and then as Head of School at Brookstone School in Columbus, GA. He currently serves on the Board of the Georgia Independent School Association and is a member of the Southern Heads of School Association.

Before becoming an educator, Marty practiced law in Mobile, Alabama and Jackson, Mississippi spending time in the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office and then worked in the areas of Oil and Gas, Probate and Mental Health Law.

Marty received his bachelor’s degree from Millsaps College in 1984 and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1987. He also has a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of South Alabama. His practice will focus on residential real estate and probate.
