Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Monday, April 1st, 2024

Time is running out to apply for the Piedmont Columbus Regional Auxiliary’s Youth Volunteer Program before the April 5 deadline.

“The program is geared towards high school students ages 14-18 looking to pursue careers in health care,” said Volunteer Services Director Nancy Williams.

Students get volunteer opportunities in a variety of clinical and nonclinical settings across Piedmont Columbus Regional’s Midtown and Northside campuses as well as at the John B. Amos Cancer Center in departments like Nursing, Dietary, Laboratory, Radiology and Environmental Services.

Those who are interested can visit Piedmont.org/ColumbusVolunteer to download the required documents— including an application, school recommendation form, essay and health records.

Applicants will undergo an interview process, and the 2024 summer program will take place weekdays from June 3 through July 26 (except for a holiday break the first week of July).

Students or parents can contact [email protected] or [email protected] if they have any questions.
