Wine Women & Shoes Event Announced for November 12th

The Muscogee County Library Foundation will host Wine Women & Shoes at 6 p.m., Thursday, November 12, at the Columbus Public Library. The event will host 400 wine-savvy, shoe-loving guests and will feature a glamorous fashion show; a marketplace for attendees to shop a special collection of apparel and accessories, reflective of the latest trends; wine tastings; a wine raffle; a fun, spirited “Key to the Closet” raffle where winner takes all clothing, accessories, cosmetics and gift certificates (valued at more than $5,000!); a live auction, providing attendees the chance to bid on travel packages, wine and unique experiences; and of course, charismatic Sole Men who will present the latest shoe trends on silver platters! Columbus community leaders Nancy Burgin and Muffy Schladensky will serve as chairs for the event.

WW&S is a fundraising organization that creates events centered on luxury fashion, fine wines and charities in need. In 10 years, WW&S has helped raise more than $30 million for various women and family-related causes through the execution of more than 175 well-attended events across the country.

 “Wine Women & Shoes will provide the opportunity for the community to enjoy a fun evening surrounded by exceptional fashion, food and wine with a purpose,” says Laura Ann Mann, executive director, Muscogee County Library Foundation. “By purchasing a ticket, event attendees are helping fund MCLF’s mission to ensure there is adequate private to keep the Muscogee County libraries a vibrant part of our community,” she adds.

Tickets start at $75 and are on sale now. General Admission tickets are $75 and include a trendy swag bag filled with a variety of goodies that women will love! VIP admission is $150 and includes a VIP swag bag full of fabulous gifts, valet parking and premier seating during the fashion show so you can kick up your heels and enjoy the show.
