A new year is the perfect time to make changes, resolve to do things better, and set a positive path for the coming year. Columbus State University Continuing Education, your first choice for learning, presents a Winter 2016 class catalog bursting at the seams with something for everyone.
New in Professional Development for Winter 2016:
-Basic ASL for Professionals – Learn how to use American Sign Language to better communicate with hearing-impaired customers, clients, and co-workers;
-ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS Readiness – For existing medical coding staff and certificate program students only, this class will explain new coding guidelines and procedures;
-Designing and Developing Mobile Apps – What could be more timely? Become familiar with mobile application development procedures for iOS and Android operating systems; and
Cyber Security for Business – Survey the most common security gaps in web applications and learn ways to remediate them.
New in personal enrichment for Winter 2016:
-Intermediate Belly Dance – Take your belly dancing skills to the next level;
-Acting for the Camera I and II: Taught by a Hollywood industry veteran, both classes cover the elements of acting needed to manage and work with the demands of the camera;
-Meet Maryse! - Our newest professional sewing instructor, Maryse will be teaching the majority of sewing classes during the winter. Check out the master listing for something that strikes your fancy; and
