For many, it’s important to honor our veterans for their service and sacrifice to our county. As Veterans Day approaches on Nov. 11, you may already be looking for unique ways to let the brave men and women of our country know you appreciate them.

It’s that desire to do something tangible that prompted Batson-Cook Construction of West Point, GA, to begin their annual Honor Bus Tour to the National Infantry Museum in Columbus, GA in 2009. Since that time, more than 300 veterans have joined the employees of Batson-Cook for a day-long tour of the National Infantry Museum.

“This is the highlight of my year,” says Paul Meadows, general manager of Batson-Cook’s West Point division office.  “We want to invite veterans to join us for this year’s tour, experience the nation’s #1-ranked free museum, and let us honor them for the day,” he adds. “This event is part of our commitment to support the community. We can’t do enough to honor the men and women who served our country so bravely in its greatest times of need”

This year’s Honor Bus Tour takes place on Thursday, Nov. 10, and is free for veterans and their invited guests (each veteran may bring one guest). Round-trip charter transportation for the group will depart from and return to West Point. The day will include a continental breakfast prior to departure, guided museum tours, and a lunch buffet at the museum.

Registration is required to attend. To register or find out more information, please go to honorbustour.com, call 706-643-2538 or email [email protected].
