Aflac, the leader in voluntary insurance sales at the worksite in the United States, announced that CEO Daniel P. Amos will serve as a keynote speaker at the CTO Forum, a premier organization for senior technology and business leaders, at their eighth annual RETHINK STRATEGY executive education program. Amos will speak on July 30, 2017, during the program that runs from July 30 to Aug. 3 at Harvard Business School.

According to CTO Forum, the RETHINK STRATEGY program is a collaboration of CTO Forum and Harvard Business School. The program aims at identifying, examining, and overcoming the challenges that senior technology and business executives face in fostering a culture of smart innovation, corporate renewal and systemic growth in well-established organizations. Distinguished leaders who will present throughout the forum are selected by the organizers and are by invitation only. Submissions and pitches from organizations are not accepted. Invitations for attendees at the RETHINK STRATEGY program are reserved for chief information officers and chief technology officers of firms ranked by Fortune.

"It is an honor to be selected to provide a keynote address at such an important event held in conjunction with one of our nation's most prestigious institutes of higher learning," Amos said. "I look forward to sharing the Aflac story and highlighting our continued innovation in the insurance industry."

Amos has been CEO of Aflac since 1990, when annual revenues were $2.7 billion. Today, Aflac annual revenues exceed $22.5 billion and the company is listed at No. 126 on the Fortune 500. He is the second longest-serving CEO in the Fortune 200, eclipsed only by Warren Buffet. In 2015, Aflac introduced its transformative One Day Pay program, which enables the company to receive, process, approve and disburse payment for eligible claims in only one business day.
