Colony Bank Names Ernie Smallman to Columbus Community Advisory Board

Colony Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Ernie Smallman to the Columbus Community Advisory Board.
Commenting on the announcement, John Roberts, Market President, Columbus, said, “We are pleased to welcome Ernie to the Columbus Community Advisory Board. Since 1996, when Ernie began his career in the real estate industry, he has built an impressive and successful career in commercial real estate sales and leasing. Licensed for both Georgia and Alabama, his extensive experience ranges from tenant representation, site assemblage and development, adaptive reuse projects, apartments, office and commercial assets, and industrial. Ernie has deep roots and is very involved in the local community, which we expect to be of great value in helping us to best serve the needs and goals of customers in Columbus and surrounding areas.”
Smallman is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) and attained his Associates Brokers license in 2007. He is the recipient of many industry awards, including Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBC) International President’s Elite award, CBC Gold Circle of Distinction award, CBC Silver Circle of Distinction award, Circle of Excellence Award – Columbus Board of Realtors, and was named a member of the Top Two Percent of Coldwell Banker Commercial producers nation‑wide by transaction volume in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Smallman serves as the board chair of The Hospital Authority of Columbus and is a member of the Rotary Club of Columbus, Uptown Columbus, and the Downtown Development Authority. In his spare time, Ernie enjoys spending time with his wife Shannon, sons Schley, Ernest, Aiden and Ryder and daughter Josephine at their lake house teaching his children how to wakeboard and surf.
