BGCCV Presents 2nd Annual Citywide Teen Leadership Summit
Tuesday, July 11th, 2023
At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley we believe that teens are the next generation of leaders and have the power to make a difference – in their own lives, in our organization, and in their communities at-large. As our organization continues to enjoy a legacy of empowering youth to reach their full potential, we also see that our community needs young leaders now more than ever. To that end, we are gathering teens from across the city, both Club attendees and non-Club attendees, to discuss pressing teen issues, celebrate their accomplishments, and advocate for the future. We believe this is just one way we can have the most positive impact on youth and teens in this ever-evolving community.
About the 2023 Citywide Teen Leadership Summit
On July 20-21, 2023, 200+ Teens and their advisors will convene to discuss the pressing issues in the Chattahoochee Valley region and the country at large. Teens will attend thought-provoking workshops from exciting subject-matter experts, enjoy engaging sessions that address critical teen issues and participate in hands-on and service-learning experiences. The 2023 City-Wide Teen Leadership Summit also offers numerous opportunities for teens to network and have fun. Teens and advisors will have the opportunity to attend sessions that encourage inclusion, target their passions, and show them how to take the community to the next level. The 2nd Annual Summit will feature interactive, high-energy experiences in the areas of academic success, career exploration and healthy lifestyles, while inspiring teens to amplify their voices to be heard. On Friday, July 21st, Teens have the opportunity to participate in various off-site experiences at local higher education institutions and companies across the community. The night will culminate at the Trade Center, and we will conclude the Teen Summit with a #WeOWNFriday Teen Mixer; you can expect lots of games, prizes, giveaways, music, and fun!
The 2023 Citywide Teen Leadership Summit is made possible by the support of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley, Inc. in partnership with the Turner College of Business and Technology, CareSource, and Amerigroup. BGCCV gratefully acknowledges staff and volunteers. These dedicated professionals are a tremendous asset to the planning of the 2023 City-Wide Teen Leadership Summit.
