Ashley Woitena Named President & CEO of VisitColumbusGA

Ashley Woitena has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of VisitColumbusGA, the organization responsible for promoting tourism for Columbus, Georgia. The Chason Group was retained by the Destination Marketing Organization to lead the executive search.
The announcement was made by Pace Halter, Chair of the VisitColumbusGA Board and Lauren Becker, Chair of the Search Committee.
Woitena is replacing long-term tourism leader Peter Bowden, who retired from the convention and visitors bureau at the end of 2024.
