National Infantry Museum Launches New Capital Campaign

Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce Hires Brian Anderson as President, CEO

The Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce announced that Brian D. Anderson, Sr. will serve as the next President and Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber. He will take that position no later than June 1st. Anderson currently serves as the President and CEO of the Greater Dalton Georgia Chamber. Anderson replaces Mike Gaymon who served as the Chamber’s CEO for over 25 years and retired in late 2014.

Dr. Chris Markwood, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Texas has been named as the next president of Columbus State University by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Markwood will assume his new position on June 1st.
