Georgia Ranked Eighth Best State For Business by CNBC

According to CNBC’s “ America’s Top States For Business 2013 ,” Georgia now ranks eighth overall and first in workforce.
This marks an improvement from the Georgia’s 2012 rank of ninth.
Georgia’s biggest jump in improvement comes in the “education” category; jumping to eighth for 2013, up from 34th in 2012.
Some of the major private sector employers include: Emory University, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Georgia Power Company, Air Serv Corporation, Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, Piedmont Hospital, Pinnacle Transport and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
