TSYS Appoints Two New Members to Board of Directors

TSYS announced today the election of two new members to its board of directors — William M. Isaac, senior managing director and global head of Financial Institutions for FTI Consulting and former Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC); and Connie D. McDaniel, former senior executive at the The Coca-Cola Company and Ernst & Young. The appointments bring the number of TSYS directors to 15.

Tomlinson, chairman of the board and chief executive officer, TSYS. “Both bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our company that will be extremely valuable as we continue to grow and expand our role in the ever-changing payments industry.”

William M. Isaac

As the senior managing director and global head of Financial Institutions for FTI Consulting, Isaac is currently responsible for FTI’s financial institutions practice group which provides regulatory counseling and risk management services, strategy consulting, expert testimony and corporate governance consulting. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Isaac founded the Secura Group, a leading financial institutions consulting firm that would eventually be acquired by LECG, and later by FTI Consulting. As the youngest Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in history, Isaac served under Presidents Carter and Reagan from 1978 through 1985 and led the FDIC during the banking crisis of the 1980s. Isaac also currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Fifth Third Bancorp. Isaac began his career as a corporate attorney at Foley & Lardner, and was subsequently a senior partner at the law firm of Arnold & Porter.

Connie D. McDaniel

McDaniel is a senior executive recognized for her accounting, finance, governance and risk management expertise. She has more than 30 years of experience in senior management roles in accounting and finance at The Coca-Cola Company and Ernst & Young. McDaniel’s industry leadership includes time served in the Controller and Chief Audit Executive roles. As a qualified financial expert, she brings extensive international experience in both emerging and established markets, having completed global assignments in South Asia and Europe. She also serves on the board of directors for Ridgeworth Funds in Atlanta, Georgia, where she is Chair of the Audit Committee.
