University of Phoenix Columbus Campus Hosts Time Management Event

WHAT:

“Running out of time” is a common theme when juggling multiple priorities at work, school and home. While the ability to master time management is not easy, it can be achieved by adapting the right time-management strategy. To help attendees take back control of the clock and make each day more productive, University of Phoenix is hosting a free Time Management Event where Augusta Campus faculty, along with retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major and local businessman, Steven Chittum, will share important information via the following activities:

  • Keynote Speaker – Steven Chittum will help attendees pinpoint common distractions that prevent their daily productivity goals, and share tools for overcoming various time-management challenges, including the Three R’s: Regroup, Reorganize and Reprioritize. 

Chittum is founder and CEO of Frontline Improvement Technologies, Inc., which serves both private businesses and government agencies, The company specializes in addressing subjects directly linked to the challenges of the modern workplace, providing effective, cutting-edge training sessions for every organizational level, including employees, managers, and executive leadership teams. Chittum served in the U.S. Army for over twenty-five years and retired as a Command Sergeant Major. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Troy University and Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Beacon University. 

  • “Your Time Management Personality” Workshop – Attendees will learn the characteristics, strengths and challenges of their individual time management personality and how to overcome roadblocks in order to be more productive. 
  • Networking Forum – At the conclusion of the day, attendees can employ new strategies learned by getting organized at work and home, creating goals and utilizing list-making applications to help them stay focused at work, school or home.
