Tuskegee Morehouse Classic Remains in Columbus Indefinitely

The Tuskegee – Morehouse Football Classic began in Columbus, Georgia 79 years ago.  For 79 years, the Football Classic Committee (known now as the Board of Directors) has partnered with Mayor Tomlinson and the City of Columbus to make this classic successful. 

A press conference will be held on Thursday, May 8th at 1:30PM in the Deputy City Manager’s Conference Room, located on the 2nd Floor of the Citizens Services Center (3111 Citizens Way).  The Tuskegee Morehouse Classic Committee is pleased and excited to stand in partnership with Mayor Teresa Tomlinson and the City of Columbus.  The Historic Tuskegee University – Morehouse College Football Classic will remain in Columbus indefinitely.  The Classic games will continue to be played in the A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium.
