Thursday, May 22nd, 2014
Property management professionals from across the state are gathering in Atlanta’s Cobb Galleria Centre on the 21st of May for the 2014 BOMA Georgia Trade Show. U.S. Security Associates, a national security company specializing in commercial properties, is among the vendors exhibiting at this year’s Trade Show. As the Security Sponsor for the event, USA is also providing security patrol services for the Trade Show and for the facility after hours.
The BOMA 2014 Trade Show is the state’s largest commercial real estate event, attracting property managers, facility managers, building engineers, developers, owners, and asset managers. Property management professionals have opportunities to network, connect with vendors, and explore technologies, products, and services that offer a competitive edge.
This year’s Trade Show theme—“Lights! Camera! Action! Be a Reel Estate Star!”—highlights the positive impact of the film industry on Georgia’s real estate and economy. The Trade Show is being held in conjunction with BOMA Georgia’s May Luncheon, which has a similar theme: “Hollywood, GA: Hollywood Moves East.”
Representing USA’s Atlanta office at the Trade Show is branch manager Dan Millhouse. Millhouse is a long-time BOMA member with 22 years of local security experience and special expertise in the commercial office market. Millhouse regularly leads seminars and lectures for building tenants on workplace violence, active shooter, floor warden and other security and safety concerns. Frequently consulted as a subject matter expert by the media, Millhouse has been featured on CNN and several radio stations and quoted in articles by the Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press, BOMA and IFMA publications, and various building and residential magazines.
Joining Millhouse in the USA booth are Bill Gensler, Vice President of USA’s Atlanta operations, Bill Carney, Business Development Manager in Atlanta, and Travis Williams, Vice President of National Accounts Sales and Operations. Millhouse acknowledges that the Trade Show is a prime opportunity for him and his colleagues to sharpen their real estate acumen. “The Trade Show is Georgia’s premier forum for property management professionals around the state to exchange experience and success strategies. Any developments, changes, or opportunities in commercial property security will be shared here first, and we pass that intel straight to our clients.”
