Synovus, the Columbus, Georgia-based financial services company, today announced that Kimberly A. Tew has joined Synovus Financial Management Services as a Relationship Consultant. She is located at First Commercial Bank, a division of Synovus Bank, at 800 Shades Creek Parkway.

“Kim brings more than two decades of experience in wealth management to Synovus. Her responsibilities encompass market analysis and talent acquisition, onboarding support, training, coaching, and working with market level bank leadership to enhance and grow our brokerage programs,” said Bart Singleton, Executive Vice President, Synovus Financial Management Services.

Tew has more than 23 years of experience in the financial services industry, and previously worked for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as Business Development Manager and as Director of Training and Business Development for Sterne Agee & Leach, Inc. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Finance, the Graduate School of Banking at LSU, and the Cannon Financial Institute Trust Sales School. Tew also completed the Southern Trust School and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Additionally, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Alabama Profit Sharing Council and the Financial Planning Association Alliance. Tew holds her Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 NASD Securities Licenses.
