Columbus Specialty Hospital Announces Selection of New Board Member

Columbus Specialty Hospital, West Central Georgia and East Alabama’s leading Long Term Acute Care Hospital, announces the appointment of its newest member to the Board of Directors, Deborah K. Bostic, MSN, RN Senior Vice President of Hospital Operations and Chief Nursing Officer of St. Francis Hospital.

Bostic received her BSN and MSN for the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. She has spent the past 29 years working with hospital systems throughout the Florida panhandle and Central Texas. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Healthcare Executives, Florida Hospital Association, University of West Florida Division of Life and Health Sciences Advisory Board, Covenant Hospice Board Member, and American Organization of Nurse Executives. Bostic holds nursing licenses in Florida, Texas and Georgia.

Bostic comes to the Columbus Specialty Hospital Board of Directors and St. Francis Hospital after serving as CNO of the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, Texas where she oversaw multiple areas including: Women’s and Children’s Services, Bariatric Services; Medical and Surgical Services, Emergency Services, the Stroke Center and Education and Professional Practice.  Prior to her work in Texas, Bostic filled many roles at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida including President, Executive Vice President and COO, Senior Vice President of Operations, CNO of the Sacred Heart Health System, and as CNO of the Santa Rosa Medical Center in Milton, Florida.
