New Horizons Community Service Board announced an organization name change from New Horizons Community Service Board to New Horizons Behavioral Health effective September 1, 2014.  The name change is part of a re-branding initiative to better align the organization name with its future strategy of providing mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive disease services to the whole community with a behavioral and integrated healthcare approach.

The re-branding initiative involves a change in the organization’s domain name and website, with the new website address changing from www.newhorizonscsb.org to www.nhbh.org. Andrea Winston, the Chief Executive Officer for New Horizons Behavioral Health, states, “The Organization will continue to operate within its current structure and our previous website and email addresses will continue to be operational for the foreseeable future.  While this change will go into effect on September 1, 2014, it will not affect the routing of our current emails, nor access to our website.” Winston added, “New Horizons Behavioral Health will still deliver the same quality services at the same worksites and will not impact nor change the daily operations within the areas of mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive diseases.”  New Horizons Behavioral Health serves over 7,000 consumers each year throughout the southwestern region of Georgia to include Muscogee, Harris, Chattahoochee, Clay, Quitman, Randolph, Stewart and Talbot Counties.

Moving forward, New Horizons Behavioral Health expects the re-branding initiative will improve its ability to communicate both internally with employees, as well as externally with key stakeholders and community partners.  Development Director for New Horizons Behavioral Health, David Wallace, agreed, “The rebranding of the organization’s name to New Horizons Behavioral Health will allow us to better represent our business. It reflects our plans for future innovations and the delivery of comprehensive behavioral and integrated health services to all the disabilities we serve. “Building Better Lives” will continue to be our Motto at New Horizons Behavioral Health.”
