University of Phoenix Columbus Campus to Host Entrepreneur Event
Thursday, August 7th, 2014
Event designed to help current and prospective entrepreneurs learn how to successfully launch and sustain a new business
According to a University of Phoenix® School of Business Survey conducted online by Harris Poll in July 2014, half (50 percent) of working adults in the U.S. either currently own or want to own their own business. Of those working Americans who do not currently own their own business, nearly two-in-five (39 percent) hope to do so in the future.
University of Phoenix® School of Business invites prospective and current entrepreneurs in the Augusta community to a special event to learn about resources essential for entrepreneurial success. At the event, University of Phoenix staff and faculty, along with local entrepreneurs, will share important information on the following topics:
- Panel Discussion – Attendees will gain insight into starting and establishing a new business by listening to a special panel discussion with local entrepreneurs who have successfully started their own businesses.
- Choosing a Business Entity – Attendees will learn about the different business entities to determine if establishing an LLC, a corporation or something else is right for their business models.
- Moving Your Business Forward – Attendees will learn how to develop a marketing plan and human resource strategy to grow their business.
