Historic Mott House Destroyed by Fire

For 173 years, the Calhoun-Griffin-Mott house along the Chattahoochee River survived multiple threats and, in its early years, was the home of some of Columbus' most prominent entrepreneurs.

The likely end for what has long been called the Mott House came early Sunday morning when a fire gutted it.
