Owners of Columbus Sports and Training Complex, LLC. invites the public to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for their new Sports Complex on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. and their grand opening Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. A tour, food and family friendly fun is planned throughout the day until 3:00 p.m. 

The complex is located at 10051 Veterans Parkway, Building A, Midland, Georgia 31820.

“We are giving athletes something I wish was available when I was a young man living in Columbus, Georgia playing football at Eddy Jr. High, Baker and Carver High School,” says Brad Hill, Owner.  “We are looking forward to the opening of the complex on October 11, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone for their support as this project has come to fruition. We have been thoroughly blessed.”

The new 5000 sq. ft. facility will offer a lobby/waiting area for parents, a future academic bar for student athletes to complete homework assignments, a planning and conference room, sports floor which will be used for volleyball, basketball, football, baseball, softball, track and field, soccer, tennis and wrestling. We also have plans for outdoor and indoor Body Battle Obstacle Courses. Morning and Mid day classes will be available for individuals looking to remain active and or get into shape without the “gym” feel many people look to avoid. Classes will include Yo-Body, Body Battle and Group Fitness.

Columbus Sports and Training Complex will be home of the National Dodge Ball League.

The facility will be available for various activities to include, Sports Themed Glow Birthday Parties, tournaments and camps. “As a long time educator and coach of many sports I am very proud to be able to provide a place that anyone and everyone can come enjoy and call home.  Providing a place for all the surrounding communities to come together to enjoy various sports, leagues, fitness programs, celebrations, and competition is very rewarding. I look forward to seeing old friends and new at our complex," Gary Johannes, Owner.

The facility will also be cleared to host sanctioned affairs and we look forward to welcoming hundreds of visitors to our community for major sporting events.

Tours of the building, games and performances will be available through out the day. Please join us for food, fun and family time!
