Dr. Nojan Valadi Receives Statewide Clinician of Excellence Award

Dr. Nojan Valadi was named the recipient of the 2014 Champions of Healthcare Clinician of Excellence award by the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (Georgia campus). Dr. Valadi received the award for teaching, mentoring and inspiring the next generation of physicians to pursue excellence in their practice of medicine. Paula Gregory, DO, MBA, assistant dean of Clinical Education presented the award to Dr. Valadi during a luncheon sponsored by Three Rivers Area Health Education Center October 24. “Teaching future generations of physicians is an honor,” said Dr. Valadi, upon accepting the award. “They will take care of us and our loved ones. I do it because I enjoy it.” Dr. Valadi is chief of Neurology and medical director of the stroke program at St. Francis.
