On Friday, October 3, Pratt & Whitney held its 10th annual golf tournament to benefit the 2014 United Way Campaign. They had 220 players, with 55 foursomes.  Pratt & Whitney raised over $70,000 for United Way, 70 percent more than last year.

“The United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley is a partner of Pratt & Whitney and provides the perfect vehicle to connect our employees and corporate philanthropy to local people in need,” said Tana Mchale, Pratt & Whitney employee and chair of the golf tournament.

“I can’t thank Tana, her committee, Pratt & Whitney, sponsors and golfers enough for the outstanding support of our efforts,” said Scott Ferguson, president & CEO of United Way.  “When you support events such as this, you are truly making a difference in someone’s life.”
