WTVM Reporter Sara Lim will step into some big shoes come December 2014. She will be taking the place of Mayor Teresa Tomlinson's Calendar Clerk and Public Information Officer Josina Pittman Greene. Mrs. Greene has been with the Mayor's Office since the Mayor's inaugaration in January of 2011. "Josina has been a real asset to us. She is a consummate professional and our ray of sunshine in the office. At the same time we are excited for her career advancement and know that she will be doing big things," said Mayor Tomlinson.
Mrs. Greene will be taking a position as Executive Assistant to Synvous Financial Corp Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Audrey Hollingsworth at over a 50% increase in her current pay in the Mayor's Office. "The public sector just can't compete with private market in salaries. That is an unfortunate reality of public service," Mayor Tomlinson explained. "It's a bitter-sweet moment, but we look forward to following Josina's success and having Sara Lim join our team."
Sara Lim is a graduate of the Grady Journalism School at the University of Georgia. She has most recently been a reporter with local news affiliate WTVM, prior to that she interned with both CNN and WSB in Atlanta. Ms. Lim will start in the Mayor's office in December.
The Mayor's Office is also staffed by Judith Tucker, the Mayor's Executive Assistant and Lacey Morrision, Office Administrator.
