The Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce is an energetic and visionary organization in the Columbus Region, that is committed to building a more prosperous community while preserving the democratic process. More than 300 business and community leaders will be in attendance to recognize the accomplishments of the Chamber in 2014 and to look forward to 2015 as it continues its mission to promote business success by being the leader in economic and community development in the region.

JIM WOODRUFF, JR. MEMORIAL AWARD: in honor of James Waldo Woodruff, Jr.
It was first awarded at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting in 1977.

CHAIR’S AWARD: given to a Chamber volunteer who has set high standards of leadership, active engagement and service “beyond the call of duty”.

J.R. ALLEN YOUNG LEADER AWARD: established in 1935 as the Outstanding Man of the Year Award, in honor of Mayor J.R. Allen. The Chamber is honored to give this award in concert with our Young Professionals Program.
