Monday, January 12th, 2015
Columbus State University, with its recent $3.25 million purchase of the Ledger-Enquirer property, is preparing to embark on a project that will expand its presence in a major way in downtown Columbus.
The project, valued between $20 million and $25 million, will bring the university’s College of Education and Health Professions — and up to 1,800 students and faculty on any given day — to the corner of 12th Street and Broadway. The goal for opening the 90,000-square-foot college is fall 2016.
