Georgia Military College Columbus, located at 7300 Blackmon Road, will have the American Red Cross Bloodmobile on campus Tuesday, January 20, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Members of the community are invited to join us and help save lives by giving blood. Walk-ins are welcome, but those with appointments will have priority over walk-in donors.

The blood donation process takes about an hour from start to finish. Donating blood involves registration, a confidential health screening, the actual donation time, and free refreshments after the donation. Blood donation time lasts about 6-12 minutes.

A single blood donation can be separated into components of cells, platelets, and plasma, so one donation can help more than one person.
