The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley is hosting its 2nd annual Corporate Youth of the Year and Hall of Fame Celebration sponsored by TSYS on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the National Infantry Museum at 7pm. N’Zier Bohannon, Austin Leathers, Aysia Miles and Esmael Soto will compete for the opportunity to be named the 2015 Youth of the Year for the Chattahoochee Valley.

Being named Youth of the Year is the highest honor a Boys & Girls Club member can receive. As Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s premier teen recognition program, the Youth of the Year title recognizes outstanding contributions to a member’s family, school, community and Boys & Girls Club, as well as overcoming personal challenges and obstacles.

The ceremonial event will also recognize two community leaders who will be inducted into the 2015 Hall of Fame. The Inductees were selected based on an exceptional willingness to volunteer and contribute to the success of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley. This year’s inductees are John F. Flournoy of Flournoy Development being inducted as the Service to Youth nominee; and Philip W. (Phil) Tomlinson, outgoing President and CEO of TSYS and former Boys & Girls Club Member being inducted as the Club Alumni nominee. The recipients will be recognized during the event program on February 19.

All proceeds raised from the event will go directly to support to the local Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley.
