Chattahoochee Valley Radio Shack Stores Closing
Tuesday, February 10th, 2015
Radio Shack is closing its stores in the Chattahoochee Valley.
The three Columbus stores, plus the Phenix City and Opelika locations, are among the 1,784 stores nationwide scheduled to close by March 31.
This comes after the company filed for bankruptcy on Thursday, Feb. 5. Radio Shack will close a portion of its stores, and the remainder will be sold to Sprint as part of an agreement to create a "store within a store," according to Business Insider.
