Fletcher's Gifts Closes Its Doors After 50 Years

After 50 years in business, a Phenix City institution, Fletcher's gifts will be closing its doors. Fletcher's opened in downtown Phenix City as a appliance store before growing into a traditional gift shop. They specialize in collectibles, like Fenton glass and Seraphim angels.
The store has moved to several different locations over the years before settling into its current building off the 280 bypass. The shop owner, Charles Bunton says the traditional brick and mortar stores aren't what they used to be, so they are going to focus on their online sales.
