United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley Surpasses $7 Million Goal

United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley surpassed its $7 million goal, setting a new record for the most ever raised in the campaign’s history.

The final 2014 tally of $7,039,396 was revealed Tuesday night at a celebration held at the Courtyard Marriott in Phenix City. It appeared in a video as United Way CEO Scott Ferguson and Campaign Chair Sallie Martin ziplined across the Chattahoochee River dressed as superheroes, the theme of the 2014 campaign. About 165 people attended the event, among them United Way volunteers, loaned executives, business leaders and agency representatives.
