Friday, February 6th, 2015

Whitewater Express is looking to hire more than 100 people to work in the Chattahoochee Valley area. The adventure specialists are now accepting applications for the 2015 season. Positions available include raft and zip line guides, reservationists, and bus drivers.

Dan Gilbert, the owner of Whitewater Express, touts the hiring history of his business.

“We are proud to provide jobs for the Columbus, Georgia community,” says Gilbert. “Last season we hired 58 raft guides."

Gilbert says with the addition of two new attractions, Whitewater Express will need at least 80 more guides this season.

Whitewater Express does not require applicants to have any previous raft guide experience. However, they must be at least 18-years-old and remain available most weekends during the summer.

Training begins March 7th at 8:30 a.m. at 1000 Bay Avenue in Columbus.

Bus drivers must have a CDL license. For reservationists, Whitewater Express wants them to have customer service skills and the ability to multi-task.
