The cost of receiving a higher education is often a hurdle that many students must overcome. Sometimes, the financial burden causes students to put off or forego their education, and other times it distracts students from what they are really trying to accomplish during their time at college. Georgia Military College recognizes this and will reduce fees for the 2015-2016 academic year.
The Georgia Military College Board of Trustees believes in keeping GMC affordable for all students. Getting an education should be accessible for people from all walks of life, and GMC does its best to ensure that. Harry Turner, a GMC student from Columbus, GA, said that, “By lowering the tuition and fees, this allows me to further my education at a much more affordable amount.”
Georgia Military College, the only public liberal arts junior college located in Columbus, is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees.
