Lake Harding Marina Poised to Open on Georgia Side of River

A boating company out of Dadeville, Ala., home of popular Lake Martin, has purchased property on the Georgia side of Lake Harding and plans to open a new marina before the end of June, complete with a restaurant, convenience store, docks and fuel pumps.
Singleton Marine Group also will refurbish an existing boat lot just off Georgia route 219 — also known as River Road — to sell new and used watercraft and accessories, said Steve Kennedy, a partner in the venture. A new showroom is to be constructed after the coming summer-fall recreation season, he said.
