Ledger-Enquirer Newsroom Wins 24 Awards for Journalism

The Ledger-Enquirer has won a combined 24 awards for journalism, including seven first place awards, from the Georgia Press Association and the Georgia Associated Press Association.
Mark Rice, the Ledger-Enquirer's veteran education reporter, was named the Georgia AP's best beat reporter for the second straight year. He was chosen from reporters across a wide variety of beats and from newspapers around the state, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
